Don Kent Chairman, Net Literacy

Don Kent serves as Chairman of Net Literacy, a youth-empowered nonprofit that has increased computer access to over 55,000 underserved individuals in three states. Net Literacy’s student volunteers also teach computer and Internet skills, and provide Internet safety education to the underserved. Don also works on the Board of several startup companies. Previously, Don was President and COO of Channelseek, a portal providing a guide to streaming video content on the Internet to companies including Roadrunner, Comcast, and Sprint. He has also served as Vice President of Marketing and Content at Sprint, and worked for twelve years for SRK, a New York City venture capital company. During his tenure in New York, Don helped launch Insight Communications, now the 10th largest cable operator, serving as its Chief Operating Officer for the company’s first ten years.
