George Chamoun Senior Vice President of Client Services, Synacor

George Chamoun is a co-founder of Synacor and currently serves as senior vice president of client services. In this role, Chamoun oversees the planning and daily operations of Synacor’s currently deployed clients such as Charter Communications, Cox Communications and NTL.

Prior to founding Synacor, Chamoun was the co-founder and CEO of Chek.com., a technology company that provided private label e-mail for ISPs and major brands including Major League Baseball and Budweiser. In 2001, Chamoun merged Chek.com with MyPersonal, which together created Synacor. Chamoun was named Upstate New York Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 1999 for his success with the growth and development of Chek.com.

Chamoun holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Business from the University of Buffalo.
